SRV Style Riff Using the BB King Box
Hey blues fans,
Today we’ll be looking at a riff in the style of one of the all time blues legends, Stevie Ray Vaughn. SRV brought and aggression and attitude to the blues that no one had seen before and inspired a million imitators. Key to his sound, though, was his use of pentatonics. One of his favorite areas to solo was the BB King box, so we’ll be looking at a riff to demonstrate how he might have used this area of the fretboard.
