The Police Style – “Sus 2 Chords”

Today we’re going to learn a new way to play a sus 2 chord that works perfectly for classic rock and modern rock alike. The Police were very big fans of this shape and used it to make some of their coolest riffs. While technically a sus chord, it actually looks like two power chords played one on top of the other. These shapes can be substituted for any chord in a major key and will give you a slightly darker, more complex sound than a typical major, minor, or power chord.
