There’s just something magical about hearing a guitar legend play a solo and it’s hard to pinpoint what exactly makes them sound so special. Sometimes, it’s their use of little embellishments that really sets them apart. Half step bends are one of those techniques that can add some serious soul to your playing. We’ll show you how.

Practice this new technique in all the spots in the major scale where we have two notes a half step apart. Make sure to check your intonation and try this out with a number of major scales.
