Tricks of the Trade – The b5 Chord

Today we’re going to learn about an important chord in the blues – the b5. If you recall, the 12 bar blues contains our I IV and V chords. Thus, a b5 is basically the major chord between the IV and V. So, the b5 serves as a nice transition between these chords. In this lesson, we’ll show you some of the ways to use it!
