The Locrian Scale
Hey GBUers,
In this lesson we’re going to learn one of the weirdest scales out there – the Locrian mode. We’ll be honest with you, you’re probably not going to use this scale very often, but you will see it from time to time in metal or jazz. You will notice, though, that it is nearly identical to the ionian mode, just with an extra note tacked on the beginning.
So practice this scale, and really grind it into your head.
Learn and memorize this scale and you’ll be good to go.
