Santana Style Dorian Progression

Hey Santana fans,

The Dorian mode is very versatile but commonly associated with Latin sounding music. The inclusion of a major IV chord gives this mode a darker minor sound but with a more uplifting, fun feel because of that IV chord. Santana uses this quite a bit in his progressions to establish his grooves. Today, we’ll show you how.
