Root 5 Piggy Back Chords
Hey guys,
We’re going to continue our study of the piggy back chords with our root 5 shapes. These are going to work off of any A shape barre chord. Basically, from one chord, you’ll be able to piggy back two other shapes which will give your playing a more dynamic sound and really help your riffs come alive.

Be able to identify the piggy back chords off the following barre chords: D major, C major, E major, and B major. Practice transitioning from your home base chord into the piggy back extensions and then try to apply a groove to it.
