Green Day Style Palm Muting Riff
Hey palm muters!
Hope those exercises have been honing your palm muting chops! Now it’s time to put them to the test with some riffs. Today we’re looking at a riff inspired by Green Day, one of the most influential modern punk bands. Much of their work, especially their older songs are based around palm muted power chord riffs, and that’s just what we’re looking at today.
So enjoy the riff, and keep rocking!
As always, try to get those palm mutes nice and punchy to balance out the regular strummed power chords. If you can do that you’ll be in good shape!
