John Fogerty Style I IV V riff

By Eric Hufschmid

Hey GBUers,

If we were stranded on a desert island with one chord progression, the I IV V might be the one we take. By using all of the major chords in a key, the progression is upbeat and happy making it perfect for pop. Today, we’ve got a riff in the style of John Fogerty to practice this classic progression.

Hope you guys like it!

Try to master this riff, but also consider how each chord fits into the key. Then, try to create your own I IV V chord progression.
