How To Read Scale Diagrams
Hello everybody,
We’re beginning a brand new study today as we venture into the world of lead guitar. This includes soloing or simply playing anything melodic on the guitar. Scales are one of the most important things a guitarist needs to know because they give us our note choices for playing awesome solos. But to understand scales we first need to know how to read scale diagrams!

Wrap your head around these diagrams and make sure you understand them. Make sure you know what the ‘R’ means, what the dots mean, and where the frets and strings are in the diagrams.
