C Sus Family
Hey guys,
Next up in our study of the open sus chords is the C family; this will include a Csus2 as well as a Csus4. It works awesomely to go between a C chord and one of the sus chords, and can help bring some emotion and feeling into your playing.
Memorize these new chords and experiment!
1) Memorize the C sus chord family.
2) Then, try strumming between a C – Cus2 – C -Csus4
3) Finally, try taking a common chord progression and subbing a regular C major for a C sus chord. For example, take C – Amin – F – G and replace the C with a Csus2 or a Csus4.
